What is SCORES?
America SCORES Seattle is an afterschool program that aims to holistically develop youth through education, recreation, and community service. Our three-pronged approach of poetry, soccer, and service learning emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and self-confidence to students who need it most.
To deliver an impactful program, we have eliminated barriers of participation by providing SCORES at no-cost to Seattle's Title 1 students. In addition to our mission, SCORES has the goal of eliminating the opportunity gap for students in educational enrichment and in youth sports in Seattle and nationwide.

Game Day Volunteer: HighlineJoin us this spring season as we host Saturday game days for Poet-Athletes at America SCORES Seattle. As these events fall outside the school week, we are seeking additional support from volunteers. This opportunity is specifically for Seattle Public Schools. For Highline School District opportunities in SeaTac, we need just as strong of a presence. Be a part of fostering community and empowerment through sports and literacy—volunteer with us today!
