SCORES Cup Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in volunteering at an exciting corporate-charity soccer tournament? The SCORES Cup is the largest annual corporate soccer tournament in Seattle and all tax-deductible entry donations help provide after-school soccer and literacy programs for at-risk youth in Seattle public schools.
The Cup typically features 15 companies and 200+ soccer players from across the city uniting in the name of charity and supporting Seattle youth, including some of Seattle's top companies such as Microsoft, Deloitte, Starbucks and SAP. We need your help in order to make this event possible. To the right are details on how you can support such a worthy cause by donating your time. Volunteer Shifts6:45 am to 8:30 am: Set up (6+ people)
- Assist with unloading materials, setting up tables and tents, organizing check-in station, organizing tournament center, setting up signage, etc. 8:00 am to 10:00 am: Check in (4-6 volunteers) - Lead the check in process for players, making sure liability forms are signed, passing out jerseys, providing captains with information, passing out schedules to attendees 8:45 am to 12:00 pm: Game watch 1 (4 volunteers) - Run tournament board, collect scores from each game, keep ahold of schedules for referees and attendees, make sure the correct teams are on fields, keep tabs on fuel stations 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm: Game watch 2 (2-4 volunteers) - Run tournament board, collect scores from each game, keep ahold of schedules for referees and attendees, make sure the correct teams are on fields, keep tabs on fuel stations 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm: Tear down (6+ volunteers) - Assist with tearing down tournament goals, tents, and tables, loading all equipment into van |

Other Volunteer Opportunities
- Team mentor: Mentor a team during the SCORES Programs, assisting the coach and serving as a positive adult role model for the students.
- Game day: Help setting and cleaning up the fields, referee games, greet teams, hand out snacks, and take pictures at our fall and spring games.
- Program events: Volunteer at the Fall Frenzy, Jamboree, and Poetry Slam!
- Fundraising events: Volunteer at the Annual Auction & Gala and the SCORES Cup.
